Criteria for Nominees

The candidate must be a graduate of James B. Dudley High School (attended at least two years) or a member of the Dudley High School family (faculty, staff or “Friend of the School”).

The candidate must be out of school for at least 10 years.

The candidate must be a citizen in good standing in his/her present community.

The candidate must be willing to support the Hall of Fame / Hall of Distinction Scholarship Program.

The candidate must be willing to be a sustaining member of the Hall of Fame / Hall of Distinction by supporting activities of the organization (fundraisers, membership drives, etc.)

The candidate must be able to demonstrate exemplary achievements in one or more of the following areas:

Business/Finance
-
Community Service
-
Education
-
Government/Politics
-
Legal
-
Athletics
-
Arts/Performing Arts
-
Induction Process
-
Nominee will remain eligible for induction for three (3) years.

If not inducted after three (3) years, nominee must wait three (3) years before he/she can be nominated again.

To be selected for induction into the Hall of Fame / Hall of Distinction, a candidate must receive at least 75% of the vote from the General Body of the Hall of Fame / Hall of Distinction.
